Franco Shade was founded by Joe Navran, the member of infamous FP crew , author of
F.O.R. Video series, which even now is considered as the best inline vid. At first
Franco Shade had a big team ( Aaron Feinberg, Dominic Sagona etc) and was a strictly rollerblading brand. With time Joe Navran tried to expand his work and focused more on non-rollerblading audience, but still remembered its roots. Earning experience and established position, with support of such people like Arlo Eisenberg (main graphic designer) the company has gained huge popularity and keeps surprising with dare slogans and original logos.
